Background

CDR B. Duarte hails from Spain, bringing a unique international perspective to CSG 12. His deep-rooted passion for both video games and aviation has been a driving force throughout his career. This passion led him to seek out and create the most immersive military simulation experiences, incorporating detailed ATC and radio communications with both pilots and ground forces to ensure a high level of realism.


Military Simulation Involvement

CDR B. Duarte's journey in military simulation began in a casual Zeus community, where he first crossed paths with CAPT N. Roach. This initial meeting laid the foundation for a future collaboration that would shape the unit's success. Fate brought them together again in the Naval Special Warfare Command, a unit founded by LCDR J. Fischer. Originally utilizing SEAL Team 7, USAF assets, and the US Army's 160th SOAR, the unit provided a versatile and dynamic operational framework.

Quickly recognizing his potential, CDR B. Duarte ascended to the role of commanding officer of the aviation detachment. Under his leadership, and with CAPT N. Roach's vision, the unit transitioned to CSG 12, adopting a more realistic and structured framework. This transformation included the integration of US Navy high command and USMC squadrons, creating a cohesive and efficient operational team.

CDR B. Duarte's real-life experience as a commercial pilot has been a cornerstone of his contributions to CSG 12.
